For Skyla's birthday and mom and dad's anniversary, we went to a cabin near Wasilla! It was so fun! It was actually hot (really! I'm not pulling your leg!) and there was a creek nearby that was fun to play in. (even if it caused me a wet sneaker) Best of all, Aspen could come, too, so she had the time of her life (even though she had to take a bath since she ran off and decided to take a dip in the river.) Dad proudly brought his canoe on his trailer, so we could go canoeing in the nearby lakes, too. Skyla had an awesome birthday, and mom and dad had a great anneversary! What a great weekend!
